CEUs offered: 2

Homelessness 101 is comprised of a series of 6 trainings covering basic content & best practices relevant and necessary for all people working in housing and homeless services. Quarter 4 of 2022 will address all 6 topics in November & December.  You do not have to attend them all or in any particular order.

Exploring Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Description:  We hear and see the need for our spaces and the work we do to center and honor equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, but what does this mean? What do these terms mean and why are they important? How might we engage in making these things foundational in our work and not add-ons? What role does bias play in this work and how do we work to minimize it and its impacts? What about the importance of connection to help nurture equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging in our work?

Exploring Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging will begin the work of addressing these questions. We do this through shared learning and growing space, which includes taking in some learning, contributing your voice and knowledge, and engaging in activities and reflection.

Join us for 90-minutes of exploring and learning and 30-minutes of debrief and conversation.
