Homelessness 201: Motivational Interviewing Evoking: The Power of Intrinsic Motivation (Step 4) on ZOOM
January 27 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
In our fourth and final introductory workshop in MI, we will take our skills deeper by understanding and practicing the art of being directive with complex reflections. These will include reflections such as double-sided, adding content, and verbalizing unspoken emotion. We will be exploring why evoking our clients’ own reasons for change is crucial to building motivation, then practice our skills of collecting, linking, transitioning, and asking the key question to support positive change. This is Part 4 in a 4 Part Series.
